If you have children, this should be the first place on your list. You could literally spend an entire day at this awesome mega museum. From ropes courses to jungle gyms, to playgrounds, to learning displays, this museum is loaded with awesome things to do for children.
You may want to pack something to eat in a cooler and take a lunch break in the car. While there is food available, it is rather expensive, so save a few dollars by packing your own. Don’t worry, you can re-enter after lunch.
Farm Country
If your kids are anything like ours, they probably love animals. If this is you, you should definitely plan a trip to farm country.
Farm country is pretty much what it sounds like. You will find all sorts of animals that you would typically find on a farm (usually fenced). You can milk a cow on certain days, ride ponies, go on wagon rides, see chickens, ducks, goats, cows, clydesdale horses and more. There are often even a few bunny rabbits inside for the kids to see.
Believe me when I say that you do not want to leave farm country off your list if you are visiting Lehi, Utah.
Cabela’s
If you love the outdoors, make sure to stop by Cabela’s on your trip to Lehi. You can find almost anything that has to do with the outdoors and pick up a few tasty treats as well.
If you were in the group above whose children loved animals, Cabela’s has a cool fish tank for them to see.
The Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point
Another awesome attraction to put on your list is the dinosaur museum. This museum is informational as well as interactive. Your kids will be able to dig for dinosaur bones, play in the sand at the sand and water table and even piece together dinosaur puzzles on the magnet board.
If your kids are like mine, you will not be able to get them to leave very easily.
The Outlets at Traverse Mountain
If you love shopping you should definitely check out the outlets at Traverse Mountain. You can shop for hours at stores like Vans, Nike, Oakley and more. You won’t have to go far to grab some delicios dinner either. You can check out Tsunami, Mad Greens or Chipotle within just a minute or two from the outlets.
