I had my first massage therapy session at Calming Touch Massage tonight with Candy. I am thoroughly impressed. Candy was communicative from the beginning about my problem areas, pressure preferences and making sure I was comfortable. She indulged me in my curiosity of human anatomy and how that was informing the pressure and techniques she used. The amount of knowledge she has gained over her years of being a massage therapist is impressive. We discussed after care and ways to help manage my pain. She was also clear and encouraging about the healing that my body will be doing after this session and every session I go to. She wants your body to get to heal to the point where you are doing maintenance session and is happy to work within your timeline and constraints. I have seen many massage therpaists in the past decade and Candy is at the top of list. I love how this practice offers evening sessions for us 9 to 5 individuals. Highly recommend.
